Melodies of life....

Alone for a while I've been searching through the dark,
For traces of the love you left inside my lonely heart,
To weave by picking up the pieces that remain,
Melodies of life - love's lost refrain.

Our paths they did cross, though I cannot say just why.
We met, we laughed, we held on fast, and then we said goodbye.
And who'll hear the echoes of stories never told ?
Let them ring out loud till they unfold.

In my dearest memories, I see you reaching out to me.
Though you're gone, I still believe that you can call out my name.

A voice from the past, joining yours and mine.
Adding up the layers of harmony.
And so it goes, on and on.
Melodies of life,
To the sky beyond the flying birds - forever and beyond.

So far and away, see the birds as it flies by.
Gliding through the shadows of the clouds up in the sky.
I've laid my memories and dreams upon those wings.
Leave them now and see what tomorrow brings.

In your dearest memories, do you remember loving me ?
Was it fate that brought us close and now leave me behind ?

If I should leave this lonely world behind,
Your voice will still remember our melody.
Now I know we'll carry on.
Melodies of life,
Come circle round and grow deep in our hearts, as long as we remember.

15 Interesting Facts about Dreams

1. You forget 90% of your dreams. Within 5 minutes of waking, half of your dream is forgotten. Within 10, 90% is gone.
2. Blind people also dream. People who became blind after birth can see images in their dreams. People who are born blind do not see any images, but have dreams equally vivid involving their other senses of sound, smell, touch and emotion.
3. Everybody dreams. Every human being dreams (except in cases of extreme psychological disorder). If you think, you are not dreaming, you just forget your dreams.
4. In our dreams, we only see faces that we already know. Our mind is not inventing faces – in our dreams we see real faces of real people that we have seen during our life but may not know or remember. We have all seen hundreds of thousands of faces throughout our lives, so we have an endless supply of characters for our brain to utilize during our dreams.
5. Not everybody dreams in color. A full 12% of sighted people dream exclusively in black and white. The remaining number dream in full color. Studies from 1915 through to the 1950s maintained that the majority of dreams were in black and white, but these results began to change in the 1960s. Today, only 4.4% of the dreams of under-25 year-olds are in black and white. Recent research has suggested that those changing results may be linked to the switch from black-and-white film and TV to color media.
6. Dreams are symbolic. If you dream about some particular subject it is not often that the dream is about that. Dreams speak in a deeply symbolic language.  Whatever symbol your dream picks on it is most unlikely to be a symbol for itself.
7. Emotions; The most common emotion experienced in dreams is anxiety. Negative emotions are more common than positive ones.
8. You can have four to seven dreams in one night. On average, you can dream anywhere from one or two hours every night.
9. Animals dream too. Studies have been done on many different animals, and they all show the same brain waves during dreaming sleep as humans. Watch a dog sleeping sometime. The paws move like they are running and they make yipping sounds as if they are chasing something in a dream.
10. Body Paralysis.
Rapid eye movement (REM) sleep is a normal stage of sleep characterized by rapid movements of the eyes. REM sleep in adult humans typically occupies 20-25% of total sleep, about 90-120 minutes of a night’s sleep.
During REM sleep the body is paralyzed by a mechanism in the brain in order to prevent the movements which occur in the dream from causing the physical body to move. However, it is possible for this mechanism to be triggered before, during, or after normal sleep while the brain awakens.
11. Dream Incorporation. Our mind interprets the external stimuli that our senses are bombarded with when we are asleep and make them a part of our dreams. This means that sometimes, in our dreams, we hear a sound from reality and incorporate it in a way. For example you may be dreaming that you are in a concert, while your brother is playing a guitar during your sleep.
12. Men and women dream differently. Men tend to dream more about other men. Around 70% of the characters in a man’s dream are other men. On the other hand, a woman’s dream contains almost an equal number of men and women. Aside from that, men generally have more aggressive emotions in their dreams than the female lot.
13. Precognitive Dreams. Results of several surveys across large population sets indicate that between 18% and 38% of people have experienced at least one precognitive dream and 70% have experienced déjà vu. The percentage of persons that believe precognitive dreaming is possible is even higher, ranging from 63% to 98%.
14. If you are snoring, then you cannot be dreaming.
15. You can experience an orgasm in your dreams. You can not only have s e x as pleasurable as in your real life while dreaming, but also experience an  o r g a s m  as strong as a real one, without any wet results. The sensations felt while lucid dreaming (touch, pleasure and etc..) can be as pleasurable and strong (or I believe even stronger) as the sensations experienced in the real world.

Love her, Love her love her ...

Love her, love her, love her! If she favours you, love her. If she wounds you, love her. If she tears your heart to pieces – and as it gets older and stronger, it will tear deeper – love her, love her, love her!

Imba Jud ka Lord ^__^

“Don't say you don't have enough time. You have exactly the same number of hours per day that were given to Helen Keller, Pasteur, Michaelangelo, Mother Teresa, Leonardo da Vinci, Thomas Jefferson, and Albert Einstein.”

Whether you perform your role perfectly and in a meaningful manner or not is irrelevant, because God expects each one to do what One is capable of, at any point, at any time. God does not expect an ant to haul a great timber as the elephant does in the forest. Nor does God expect the elephant to fly gracefully in the air as do swallows and doves. He expects birds to fly and He loves them for what they do. He expects elephants to fulfil their role, giving dignity to the forest and doing incredible jobs of strength. And He expects man to live as man. And each one in his own place, in his own sphere, can fulfil a task and gladden the heart of the Maker and contribute something to His plan on earth.

And this is the truth. And to be aware of the truth is to be worry-free, anxiety-free. To be aware of the truth is to be grateful to God: “You have made me unique, You have given me a role, and You have prompted me and brought to me all helpful factors to fulfil my role and play my part. For that I ever give thanks”

No one is dispensable. No one is useless. No one is lesser in the eyes of God or in the eyes of those who try to avoid human judgement and human standards of criticism, who accept God’s creation as it is, because God created it. For them, whatever God thought fit to make, in any manner whatsoever, is perfect; there is nothing wrong in it, and it is acceptable. For them, whatever emanates from God partakes of His divinity and perfection, and therefore in God’s own plan, and in God’s own way, is fully complete.

In this way, if we accept this truth that to God we are unique, and so we are to all those who are trying to look with the impartiality of God’s vision, then in the presence of God and of those who are devotees of God, we must feel at home, we have arrived; we may no longer feel distressed in heart. One should rejoice in serene calmness of spirit: “I have arrived, I am at home, I am in the presence of God and I am totally accepted.”

Things are as they should be. The Lord is in heaven and all is well on earth. This is the faith, the firm belief of those who have faith in the infinite love of God, who have trust in the infinite goodness of God and who are sure that in God’s heart they have a special and unique place. This is ever kept reserved for them and no one can take it away from them, because God’s infinite heart is large enough to hold the entire cosmos and everything within it.

Thus knowing, we should have great comfort in our heart, great satisfaction and contentment. And that is the secret of inner joy, the key to blessedness and the pathway to peace, serenity and inner calm, where there is no fretting, agitation or restlessness.

The peace of God pervades the entire earth; the peace of God pervades everywhere, without and within. The peace of God is the one great truth underlying all things, ever-present, ever-accessible and available, ever-full and inexhaustible.

Try to live in the light of this truth, and the heart and mind will be at ease. Never compare and contrast, because there is no comparing and contrasting amongst unique things. Every little fledgling hatched from an egg is unique to its parents; so is each being unique in itself, for God is the parent of all. Hence, sages and saints and men of wisdom look upon all with equal vision.

Therefore, rejoice that you are special to God in His infinite love. Rejoice that you have your own special place and role to perform in this creation of God. And rejoice that His love is immediately available to you, for He is not a remote reality, but He is the indwelling Reality, nearer to you than anything else on earth. And rejoice that within you is the peace of God as your own Self. You are God’s peace and you have a duty to perform, that is, to spread this peace which you are to one and all. Live to spread this peace!

Moving On is not easy...

Letting go isn't a one-time thing, it's something you have to do everyday, over and over again."

"True love doesn't have a happy ending, because true love never ends. Letting go is one way of saying I love you."

"Letting go has never been easy, but holding on can be as difficult. Yet strength is measured not by holding on, but by letting go."

"Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened."

"I'm dating a woman now who, evidently, is unaware of it."

Anyways! Na inspire ko sa advice or story ni Kuya Rex

Me: ang hirap pala pag ikaw na mismo ang nasa situation na ganito...

Kuya Rex: Mahirap nga - but it can be done. I know of 2 or 3 couples na ganyan. Si Tess Santillan nga 13 years older si Tony sa kanya.
But she got married at 23

Me: WOW... ganda naman ng story
gusto ko sila ma meet ulit

Kuya Rex: they have 5 kids... may challenges din kasi much older si Tony so they were able to make arrangements... si Tony hindi mahilig sa sosyalan.. si Tess eh reyna ng sosyalan.. personality pa lang lagyan mo pa ng age so it makes for an interesting relationship.

So pag nag aaway sila kinukwento agad ng youngest nila sa amin kahit hindi namin tinatanong.. funny

Me: Hahaha!

Ok lang yan.. nung 30 ako sabi ko I will be okay na kahit hindi ako mag asawa... but then God had other plans
Ok what's your number?
I got married at 31

Me: hahahaha mga love stories nga naman woh

Me: yung canon yun muna ang magiging GF ko for now haha

Kuya Rex: high maintenance naman na GF yan!

Me: ahaha ok lang hindi ka naman masasaktan kahit high maintenance

Kuya Rex: sabi ko sa God.. ikaw na bahala... but then when he opens the door - you need to be brave and walk through the fire sometimes...
and walking through it you find....
REDEMPTION!

Kuya Rex: save the money for your wedding instead...or for travels with your GF later..

Kuya Rex: Nice chatting with you Lj

Haiz may gani kay Online si Kuya Rex ^__^ nag lisod ko ug sabot sa akong Gibati Jud...

Infatuation or Love?

Love is not controlled by feelings. it does not do anything and everything it feels. rather, in true love, the feelings are under the control of principle. ♥

Infatuation is ruled by feelings, but love's feelings are ruled by principle.
Infatuation is blind, but love sees and examines. ♥
Infatuation is in a hurry,
but Love takes time.

Answered Prayers

“I asked God for strength that I might achieve. I was made weak that I might learn humbly to obey. I asked for health that I might do greater things. I was given infirmity that I might do better things. I asked for riches that I might be happy. I was given poverty that I might be wise. I asked for power that I might have the praise of men. I was given weakness that I might feel the need of God. I asked for all things that I might enjoy life. I was given life that I might enjoy all things. I got nothing that I asked for, but everything I hoped for. Almost despite myself, my unspoken prayers were answered. I am, among all men, most richly blessed.”

Thank you Lord...

Last One Standing

I need this like air in my lungs.
This element tears through my bones.
It keeps me fighting.
Well I, emotions that swim through my veins.
A fever that shows in my face,
I’m not hiding.
And this fire is alive in your eyes.
Well I can barely breathe,
And I can hear the dark hearts marching.
I won’t go down easily.
Stay here by my side,
And we will be the last ones standing.
Hold my hand and kiss me before the hearts collide.
Cold, the feeling of fear on my skin.
Dying to find a way in the silver lining.
The stars, they burn out like dreams all around.
Falling like rain to the ground.
But you’re still shining.
And this fire is alive in your eyes.
Don’t wake me up.
I feel your touch.
Your love like blood runs through me.
You consume me.

Help Her Lord ...

Please help her Lord.... Amen...
